“I have listened to Stroll in the Cool a number of times now and it has never failed to brighten an otherwise overcast, cold winter day.”
Andrew Timar, Wholenote (Toronto)

Stroll in the Cool is the second CD for skylark by bassoonist Jesse Read and guitarist Michael Strutt. This latest venture features an entire newly created repertoire for the two instruments. From the soulful music of Fado, the vibrant dances of Cuba to the serene melodies of Brazil. An exciting bonus is twelve newly composed parts to well known classical period guitar works. This is an eclectic stroll through two centuries of cool music.
